The Saxon Estate Winemaker’s Dinner is this coming Thursday (Oct 29th at 6:30 PM).  Here is the menu that we’ve put together with Paul and Jayne! Five courses for $65 (per person), wine and food included. Paul and Jayne will be there to present the wines, and tell you about their winery in the Okanagan! Still a few seats left. 2013_Crown_JewelReception Wine:  CROWN JEWEL 2014 VQA BRUT Sparkling – Methode Traditionelle is made from 100% organic Pinot Gris and our famous Léon Millot grapes grown on our estate, with lots of personality.

Wine Pairing: Single Vineyard GEWURZTRAMINER 2014 VQA
is made from 100% estate grown organic grapes from our Lumsden Vineyard.



2013_English_RoseSecond Course: Butternut Squash Gnocchi with Spinach
Wine Pairing: ENGLISH ROSE 2014 VQA named after our native English emblem is made from 100% organic grapes. A quintessential summer wine but also all year round too, our Rosé is a blend of Pinot Gris and our famous Léon Millot grown on our estate.


2013_Unoaked_MerlotThird Course: Roast Chicken Rosemary & Roasted Garlic Mash, Chanterelle Gravy
Paired With: UNOAKED MERLOT 2013 VQA is a unique wine made from 100% organic grapes.  A rare find, discover this fruity red with no oak ageing unleashing the pure fruit flavours of the Merlot grape varietal.


2013_Four_PlayFourth Course: Rouladen of Beef, Herb Spatzle
Paired With: FOUR PLAY’ RED BLEND – Non Vintage  made from 100% organic grown Léon Millot (2014), Cabernet Sauvignon (2013), Merlot (2014) Pinot Noir (2014). Ruby red in colour with a cassis, raspberry and vanilla on the nose.


VIP_2010Dessert: Caramel Pecan Tart, Sour Cream Ice Cream
Paired With: VIP PORT style fortified dessert wine 2010 in made from 100% estate grown organic Pinot Noir blended with hand picked Okanagan cherries.  This classic wine has a dark ruby colour and is fortified with a 4 year old oak aged Foch brandy from the Okanagan.
